After reports heavily linking David De Gea with a move to Real Madrid for the last two campaigns, then Real President Florentino Perez came out to say, they have not made contact with United over their Goalkeeper this summer.
This means the 26-year-old will undoubtedly be in The Old Trafford this coming campaign to start his Seventh season with the Red Devils.
However, Perez was more forthcoming on Italian Gianluigi Donnarumma, but admits the Europe League winners are keeping tabs on the 18-year-old AC Milan stopper.
Real President said as quoted by Metro that:
“We haven’t spoken to De Gea,” “The last time I spoke to him was when that [failed transfer] happened. Two years ago we had that fax misfortune. It [the contract] arrived two minutes late.
“Two years ago we had an issue and then the appropriate circumstances didn’t arise. “The players are very fond of Keylor and also the coach. I like Keylor Navas.”
Apparently, The Los Blancos are not that keen on signing a goalkeeper this summer
Perez proceeded to tell the Radio that: “have not received any offers for Cristiano, Morata or James as some media have stated,” adding: “Our priority is to keep our current core of players, and that is why we are not going to make any movements.”
On the other hand, they are some other reports strongly linking Morata to a move to Old Trafford this summer.
