Mauricio Pochettino, the charismatic Argentine manager has targeted PSG midfielder, Adrien Rabiot as he looks to bolster his squad in anticipation of Champions League football next season.
The Lilywhites were atrocious in Europe this season, exiting both the Champions League and Europa League at the first hurdle, and those surrounding the club know that massive improvement is needed if Tottenham are to stake a claim as one of Europe’s biggest clubs, something they are managing at the moment in England. The Mirror reports that Rabiot could be the subject of a summer move by Tottenham.
PSG midfielder, Adrien Rabiot has not hidden his desire to one day play in The Premier League after failing to make his mark as a youngster at Manchester City.
The 21-year-old has established himself as a key member of the PSG team, and was important as Les Parisiens ridiculed Barcelona 4-0 in the first leg of the Round of 16 clash at the Parc des Princes a fortnight ago, but Tottenham will face competition from the likes of Arsenal, Manchester City and Manchester United, who are monitoring the progress of the player at his current club, and will be ready to pounce if he decides to leave the Ligue 1 champions.
Rabiot is a quality midfielder that plays with grace and maturity that makes a mockery of his tender years. He has made over 130 appearances for PSG across all competitions since making his debut in 2012 and currently has two years left on his current deal.
