Over the past few years, Real Madrid have poached Tottenham’s best players, but it seems the table have been turned if this latest news is anything to go by. Mauricio Pochettino is willing to break the bank for Spanish international, Isco, according to Mirror

The 24-year-old midfielder recently pointed out that he could be set to leave the Santiago Bernabeu due to lack of regular playing time and having won two Champions League titles in his time at the Spanish capital, a new move will not be out of sorts for the former Malaga man.

Isco has struggled to displace the likes of Kroos, Modric and Casemiro from manager, Zinedine Zidane’s thoughts all season, and his meager return of just 11 league starts is nowhere the level expected of a top quality player in his mould.

Tottenham will be willing to spend upwards of £30m to get their man, as Pochettino had grown disillusioned with summer signing, Moussa Sissoko who had really struggled to kick start his Spurs career.

The Frenchman was brought in from Newcastle to provide more competition for places after a decent European Championships with France last summer, but has failed woefully to show any of his quality since swapping Tyneside for North London.

24-year-old Isco is a creative genius, fleet footed who offers a whole lot of dimensions going forward. He can dribble, pass and has a keen eye for goals himself. He joined the 11-time European champions in 2013, and has since gone on to score 27 goals in 173 appearances, while winning a host of trophies in that time.
